Online applications: These online forms can be used to apply for or request several services offered by GCEA. Please note, these forms are secure and information is only shared with the GCEA President and Uniserv Director. 


Sick Leave Bank Enrollment: This form can be used to enroll in the GCEA Sick Leave Bank (Enrollment runs July-September 30th annually). Once you fill out and submit the form, you will receive a DocuSign document via email (using the address you provide on the form below) that must be signed in order to finalize membership.

Online Grievance Form: This form can be used to securely file a grievance online. Please note, a grievance occurs when rights outlined in the Unit 1 or Unit 3 negotiated agreement have been violated. If you feel such a violation has occurred, please proceed using the form below. This form is secure and is submitted directly to the GCEA president and Uniserv Director.

Which terms of the Negotiated Agreement do you feel were violated. For example, I was asked to work outside the specifications of the duty day.
 


Building Rep Roster Update: Building reps can use this form to update NEA360 rosters with retired teachers, new teachers, retired ESPs, or new ESPs. Please see the instructions on the form and use the format requested when making roster updates.

Please list any changes to the roster here. For example, if John Smith a teacher has retired, list John Smith - Teacher - Retired. If a new member has been added, list John Smith - Teacher - Added 2023.

GCEA Annual Scholarship Application: Use this form if you are referring a student (or the student is applying themselves) for the annual GCEA scholarship. To be considered, a scholarship application must be received by April 27th. All files including personal essay, letters of recommendation, college acceptance letters, etc can be uploaded using the file upload in the form. This is a secure form that transmits directly to the GCEA president. Please note, that the requirements to be considered for the scholarship are as follows:

This scholarship is given to a senior who plans to major in education this fall at an accredited college or university.  A scholarship is awarded at Southern High School and Northern High School.  The selection of scholarship recipients is based on the student’s dedication to the teaching profession as demonstrated by the following.
  • Personal essay of at least 300 words, but not exceeding 500 words, responding to why he/she wants to be a teacher; a description of special talents, abilities or skills he/she possesses which would be helpful in a teaching career; and his/her view of the teacher’s influence on society.  Essay must have student’s signature.
  • Content of three letters of recommendation from non-family members (one of which must be from a teacher in the applicant’s respective high school), which support a commitment to the teaching profession. (Originals sent to us; no photo copies.)
  • Acceptance letter from the college you are going to attend, if available.
  • Intellectual ability as demonstrated by the student’s academic achievement and academic program.
  • A transcript from your school.
