In response to concerns from GCEA members regarding school safety, student behavior, and GCPS’ administrative response to these concerns, GCEA is hosting a School Safety Call to Action. The call to action encourages GCEA members to ensure that any incident/injury that takes place within Garrett County public schools is properly reported using the proper channels. GCEA Uniserv Director Cresta Kowalski (tel:240.380.0307) is available to guide and support members who are dealing with any school safety concern. Additionally, GCEA is working to establish additional resources for members to document school safety and injury concerns and open lines of communication with GCPS to address these concerns.
