GCEA is saddened by the sudden loss of Garrett County teacher and former GCEA treasurer Wendy Ann Shoemaker. Wendy spent her career at Southern Garrett High School as a special education teacher and served for four years as treasurer of GCEA. Wendy was a member of GCEA for 17 years and was an advisor for Best Buddies International.
